On Sunday June 2nd three brave souls from the UK garden retail sector took to the skies to raise £15,000 for the Greenfingers Charity, including GIMA Director, Vicky Nuttall, to find out more about her Fundraising journey. She commented: “I’ve recently celebrated a milestone birthday, so I felt it was time to get out of my comfort zone and challenge myself. The Greenfingers Wing Walk came along at the perfect moment, so I just knew I had to get involved! After all, what is more ‘out of your comfort zone’ than flying across the skies of Wiltshire whilst strapped to the top of an airplane?! No matter how scared I am, I’ll just have remind myself why I’m doing this. You can’t put a price on what Greenfingers does, so being able to contribute something means a great deal”.
