Harrogate Christmas & Gift Festive Industry

Harrogate Christmas & Gift will once again open its doors to the festive industry in 2019, straight after the Christmas holidays – from 13th to 16th January 2019 – promising a wealth of exciting new products for the Christmas 2019 season.

The show, which is perfectly timed for festive buyers – while fashion and trends for this Christmas are fresh in their minds – has grown steadily in popularity over the last five or six years and encompasses seven halls of the Harrogate Convention Centre. Last year, the show attracted over 5,000 buyers from a diverse range of sectors including department stores, independent gift retailers, garden centres, visitor attractions, cathedral and heritage shops – in fact any outlet at all that aims to offer its customers something a little special as a keepsake or gift for Christmas.

Simon Anslow, show organiser, explains: “Because of its name, everyone expects Harrogate Christmas & Gift to be just about Christmas – and of course, to an extent it is. You will find everything imaginable right up to Santa himself, from tinsel and crackers, trees and ornaments, lights and floral displays, to toys, books and festive gifts. However, there is also a huge element of year-round ranges which are suitable for all retailers including garden products and lighting, greetings cards and toys, fragrance and aromatherapy products, fireworks, Easter and Halloween ranges – in fact if you are looking for something a little bit different to tempt your customers, you are pretty much guaranteed to find a product or two to catch your eye at the show.”

This year, as well as all of the visitor’s favourite companies such as Premier Decorations, Widdop & Co, Gisela Graham, Snowtime, Vivid Arts, Noma, Joe Davies, Floralsilk, Kaemingk, Festive productions, Sagedecor and Heaven Sends (to name just a few); the 2019 show offers over 30 brand new companies exhibiting for the first time. Many of these are located in Hall Q – so retailers looking for exciting new gift ranges should certainly head for this hall.

New companies include: Claire Louise with greetings cards, homeware and beauty products; Mercodels Eco-model kits maker with popular themed model crafts; Artcuts with seasonal gifts and decorations; and Ultimate Products which develops new, innovative concepts to bring sought after products to the market.
