We make beautiful stationery that fills a real gap in the market, marking occasions that you don’t tend to see featured in your typical high street stores. After launching just a year ago, in May 2017, Peace and Blessings is now stocked by Fenwick of Bond Street, Natural Trust for Scotland, as well as Selfridges and John Lewis Westfield Stratford & Oxford Street. You can also find us online on our website and on Not on the High Street and Haute Elan. In our first year, we have already been named one of the winners of the Manchester Stationery Show’s Launchpad Competition 2017 and also won the greetings and stationery category at the 2018 Gift of the Year awards at the International Spring Fair.
In Peace and Blessings, founder Zakera Kali has launched a collection of design-led stationery that is not only unique and beautiful but is also responsibly sourced, using traditional craftsmanship along with the latest production techniques. The Hajj pilgrimage planner and journal, for example, is bound in faux leather and handmade in the UK with a combination of traditional artisan methods. It features a checklist for travelling, with space to write seminar notes in preparation of the pilgrimage and other relevant information, and enough room to document your journey and record your experience.
