Pyramid International wins Beatles license

Pyramid plans to launch early in 2018 a brand new stationery collection featuring iconic Beatles imagery.

Caroline Mickler Ltd, which along with Apple Corps manages the UK licensing programme for The Beatles, has announced the award of the license to Pyramid International, who will use the iconic artwork on a wide range of items, including notebooks, storage boxes, tags, sticky notes, pin badges, pens and pencils. The promotional merchandise company has also planned pen and pencil sets and cases, as well as multi-product gift sets.

All stationery in the range will feature a variety of imagery, including the iconic album covers and logos from the legendary Sgt Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band, Yellow Submarine and Abbey Road albums, as well as photographs and artwork associated with the world’s most famous band.

The range will launch in early 2018, when it will be available in a large number of high street retail outlets, supermarkets and department stores. The target market for these items is wide, taking in Beatles fans of all ages, lovers of high-quality branded stationery and gift givers.

Caroline Mickler commented: “Beatles imagery is popular with fans of all ages and a number of instantly recognisable images have been beautifully adapted for this range.

“We are delighted with the Pyramid International range, which is original, attractive and, of course, practical and useful.”
