Established in London by a group of young designers D&H was set up to showcase the best of emerging design talent and provide fun every day essentials that make people smile.
The new range of cotton rich socks is made up of fun patterns such as palm trees, skull & cross-bones and bicycles (charmingly named “Tour de Toes”). Each design comes in two sizes, suited to both men and women.
On entering the competitive intimates market, founding partner Pete advises; “us Brits have a fantastic sense of humour and we wanted to create a range which really resonated with our core consumer and showcased their individual personality. We create that every day essential that makes people smile when they put them on in the morning”
Retailing through their website drakeandhutch.com, the label now also operate through stockists across the UK, Scandinavia, USA & Canada. They advise the UK market remains key for them going forwards with an ambitious roll our scheme planned with partner stockists over the next year. They are also seeing strong growth in exports having consulted with the UK Department of International Trade over the past 12 months.
