‘Inspired by Soane’ collections in a Cabinet of Curiosities at Decorex

New additions from Gainsborough and Chisel & Mouse, as Sir John Soane’s Museum display luxury licensed collections at Decorex International 2017.
 
Sir John Soane’s Museum display at Decorex International 2017 will this year be a cabinet of curiosities created with the help of set-designer Marcela Iriarte. The display will showcase new and existing licenseedesigns which have been inspired by the collection at the Art Fund Museum Of The Year 2017 finalist Sir John Soane’s Museum.
 
Decorex International 2017 (17 – 20 September 2017) at Syon Park, London, is the UK’s premier luxury interior design event.  Sir John Soane’s Museum, Cultural Partner of the event, is exhibiting products created by its Inspired by Soane Licensing Partners, in a creative, contemporary setting to show the timelessness of the collections.
 
Joining Adelphi Paper Hangings, Atkey & Company, Burden, Chesney’s, Haddonstone, Hector Finch Lighting, King & McGaw, Locker & Riley, Ossowski and Surface View will be new licensees Gainsboroughand Chisel & Mouse.
 
Gainsborough’s broad new collection allows admirers of Sir John Soane to bring something of the Museum home. It exemplifies the quality of the workmanship and the breadth, versatility and unmatched beauty of Gainsborough fabrics.
 
Chisel and Mouse launch their precise, signed and dated architectural sculptures based on the Museum’s classic architectural models, starting with an Ionic Greek temple.
