Gillian Blair – National Business Manager
Gillian has recently joined Enesco as National Business Manager. Her role includes New Business Development together with the Management of UK Field Sales and selected National Accounts.
Her previous role was Head of Sales & Marketing and she brings extensive knowledge of the Giftware, Textiles, Home Fragrance and Body Care Sectors.
Gillian has also been a Trade Buyer. After graduating, she progressed her career into Purchasing and Product Sourcing with a large US based FMCG organisation and was fortunate to travel extensively throughout Europe & Asia Pacific. However, after 12 years, she left to open her own Independent shops on the High Street.
This Buying, Supply Chain & Retail experience has allowed her to fully appreciate the importance of Customer Service, Quality, Innovation and Quick Response from Suppliers.
Sam Bond – Areas Sales Manager – London, East Anglia
Sam previously worked in the timber flooring industry, so is new to the gift trade, but he does bring with him a long history of building relations with new and existing customers to provide them with excellent customer service and the best possible solutions for their individual needs.
Outside of work Sam is keen to try his hand at any sporting activity possible and is an avid football fan.
Simon Kidd – Area Sales Manager – Southwest England and South Wales.
Simon spent his formative years in the Card & Gift industry as an Area Sales Representative supplying mainly independent retailers covering the South West. After a few years, he moved on to the party & balloon trade covering a wider range of business's that included distributors, independents and Regional accounts.
Simon then changed industries & diversified into the world of furniture working as an Area Sales Manager for a very well-known British brand covering the South of England.
He then moved up the career ladder & became a Business Development Manager for one of Britain’s largest franchisers of greetings cards where he was responsible for some 23 franchisees helping them manage and grow their investment supplying cards to independent retailers. He later went back to the gift industry as an Area Sales Manager which is where he has been for the last 6 years.
