The 2018 edition of the awards will be hosted by Spring Fair in partnership with the Giftware Association
Spring Fair and the Giftware Association, today reveal the dynamic new format for the annual Gift of the Year Awards. Spring Fair will be hosting the awards, in collaboration with the nationally recognised Giftware Association. With new retailer Awards added to product categories, they are promising to be more prestigious than ever before.
2018 marks an exciting new era in the 40 year history of these esteemed Awards, as the Giftware Association and Spring Fair join forces to offer a night of celebration at The Vox, part of the Resorts World entertainment complex, located adjacent to The NEC. The evening will recognise the best new products and top retail talent.
Announcing the winning products on the first evening of Spring Fair, the UK’s largest gathering of retailers, offers the opportunity for unrivalled publicity for winners and the shortlist. It pin points buyers to their next best seller as identified by their peers, with winning products available for them to buy the next day at the show.
The Awards will take place Sunday 4th February 2018 and are considered to be the most respected accolades within the gift industry. The evening will consist of a glittering awards ceremony and will allow people to celebrate their hard work along with the opportunity to relax over dinner, with colleagues, suppliers and customers. Tables and seats will be available to buy and with the many 1,000’s of people in attendance at Spring Fair are expected to sell out.
Sarah Ward, Chief Executive Officer of The Giftware Association, which has been supporting the industry since 1947, comments: “The Giftware Association has been running the Gift of the Year competition for 39 years.
